Each year we try to match our scholarship offerings (to our scholarship recipients) with our income (from our alumni members’ donations). We understand that those who contribute to the scholarship fund wish to know that their contributions are being used. Thanks to generous gifts to the scholarship fund each year, we have developed a tradition of offering two $500 scholarships at commencement and, also, offering additional support to the previous recipients through their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years of study, as our funds allow. Thanks to the generous giving of Alumni members, we were able to offer two $1,000 scholarships for Commencement 2023 and hope to continue to do the same in the future. THANK YOU for your generosity. Box 33 Laurens, NY 13796 To be considered for the Alumni Association Scholarship, a student must be a deserving senior who is not the recipient of a major scholarship and is planning to attend a two- or four-year school, preferably the child of a graduate of LCS or a child whose family has had a long-term relationship with LCS, demonstrating a commitment to the community. Congratulations to the 2023 Alumni Association Scholarship recipients: Aiden Armenti & Brooke White We presented two $1000 scholarships at the 2023 commencement and, following the students’ successful first semester, we plan to support each of those students with an additional $1000 award for the second semester.
